Kyushu University - Robert T Huang Entrepreneurship Center (QREC)

The Robert T. Huang Entrepreneurship Center is an interdisciplinary education and research center for undergraduate and graduate students of business at Kyushu University in Japan. The center is provides a place for students to receive a systematic, dynamic, globally-minded education in entrepreneurial values, while serving as a launchpad for collaboration with other schools and industry partners worldwide. The center also generates its own research in the emerging methodologies of entrepreneurial education

The Huang Leadership Development Scholarship

The Huang Leadership Development Scholarship offers the 30,000 employees of Synnex Corporation and their children worldwide scholarships to universities in North America, Japan, China, and India. Applicants can be graduating high school students applying to undergraduate programs, candidates for Masters’ programs, or adults applying for continuing education. Scholarships of $10,000 are granted annually to students to support the higher education of Synnex families coming from diverse global backgrounds.

Robert T. Huang at MIT

Robert T. Huang works with MIT Sloan to foster entrepreneurship with MIT students, with a particular focus on international entrepreneurs and technology. Robert T. Huang also serves as an Executive Board Member for North America for MIT Sloan.

The Asian studies fund at the college preparatory school

The Asian Studies Fund provides support for professional development and travel for Asian Studies faculty, and supports Asian art and cultural experiences on campus at the College Preparatory School, an independent coeducational high school in Oakland, California. Recent initiatives include amending the first-year students’ world history course to include a more global perspective, supporting Mandarin teachers’ research and travel to China, and facilitating international student exchanges from Asia with the school.

The asian art museum, san francisco

The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco introduces a Western and global audience to the distinctive materials, aesthetics, and intellectual achievements of the diverse cultures of Asia through the display of artwork. Robert Huang currently serves as a Trustee of the museum and leads an effort to reimagine the offerings of the museum gift shop, which strengthens ties between the institution and the art/design objects of Asia.

The torch scholars program, northeastern university

The Torch Scholars program at Northeastern University offers bright first-generation students support during their college years through a preparatory summer immersion program, intensive academic planning and peer/professional mentoring, and a wide variety of social events to foster relationships in the academic community. The program creates a path for access, retention, and achievement for a highly diverse and motivated group of students who are working for themselves and their families.

Ximen Elementary School is supported through the creation of after-school classes and athletic activities, student counseling services, books, and a faculty awards program.

that man may see

That Man May See supports the mission of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco: to save and restore sight for present and future generations. That Man May See raises funds to support the Department of Ophthalmology, as well as the Francis I. Proctor Research Foundation in Ophthalmology. HPF has supported the department’s research in glaucoma and Lily Huang will be serving as a board member of the endeavor.

 

The abundant life international fund, taiwan

The Abundant Life International Fund supports after-school programs at 10 different locations of the Canan Church in Taiwan. These sites are located in rural communities in the southern part of the island, where students receive tutoring and help with their homework
